Miranda McCurdy brings over a decade of experience to her role as Vice President of Marketing at Difenda, where she leads global marketing and communications functions. Her responsibilities include brand management, corporate communications, media relations, and marketing operations. Her strategic vision and leadership have been pivotal in positioning Difenda as a leader in cybersecurity solutions.

Key Accomplishments:

  • Under Miranda’s leadership, Difenda was named the Microsoft Security Impact Partner of the Year for Canada in 2023, and has been a finalist for both the Microsoft Security Excellence MSSP of the Year and Microsoft Security Partner of the Year in 2024.
  • Difenda has consistently been recognized in MSSP Alert’s Top 250 MSSPs for four consecutive years and as an industry leader by Cyberdefense Magazine.
  • Miranda’s efforts have helped Difenda earn the Global Infosec Award for the best MXDR service and the prestigious 2024 Fortress Cybersecurity Award.

Prior to her tenure at Difenda, Miranda enhanced the growth trajectories of major U.S. brands such as Sherwin-Williams, Nestlé, and DDR. She played a crucial role in brand building, channel acceleration, customer acquisition, and retention. Notably, during her time at Sherwin-Williams, she served as President of the Sherwin-Williams Women’s Network, advocating for women’s empowerment in the workplace.

Passionate about promoting diversity, Miranda is dedicated to mentoring young women, encouraging them to pursue careers in cybersecurity. Her marketing approach focuses on creating compelling narratives that not only enhance brand presence but also drive customer success and revenue growth.

Outside of her professional life, Miranda is committed to community service, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the Special Olympics, and the Charleston Food Bank.
